Wisdom of Ben Sira 2:2-4

New Catholic Bible

² Be sincere of heart and steadfast,
    and do not be alarmed when confronted with adversity.
³ Cling to him and do not forsake him,
    so that your final days will be blessed.
⁴ Accept whatever befalls you,
    and be patient whenever you suffer humiliation.
